Pick up at your hotel and then depart to visit the Tsarasaotra private park, the little bird island which is located in the city in about 27ha of environment consists of lake. It is a privileged place for the reproduction of aquatic avifauna of Madagascar. This park is the only site in the world ranked Ramsar (Convention of Wetlands) and enjoys the protection of WWF, Birdlife International, Peregrine's Fund and the Malagasy government. This is the great refuge for birds. Among sixty species of birds frequent this park and the most observed are the horned bird, the widower Whistling bird, and different species of Heron bird, Egrets, humpback ducks and even other birds’ species which are very interesting. In 1980 the Prime Minister and the Queen Ranavalona acquire Tsarasaotra. The remains of the country lodge of the Queen Ranavalona testify it. After the tour, continue towards the traditional “Digue” market to buy some souvenirs. Many shops and craft workshops are located in the city or suburbs and offer truly original and unique products but the market “Digue” market is one of the busiest and offers almost everything by Malagasy crafts. After the visit, drive back to your hotel
