HOW TO RECOGNIZE A CERTIFIED TOUR OPERATOR or TRAVEL AGENCY ?
Legally, only the travel agency with a valid license can sell travel. The accredited travel operator is recognizable by its license number that must be displayed. To know the real and to avoid the worst case, please have attention to the following addresses:
• The Tourism Ministry (Recommended) - Tel: + 261 20 22 668 05
Why the Tourism Ministry? Because the registration of all tour operators or travel agencies are at the Ministry and only it latter is able to issue licenses.
• National and Regional tourist office (optional) - Tel: + 261 20 22 661 15
Why the national or regional tourist office? Because that's where all the tour operators or travel agents are registered to make known their activities.
